We are Hike One. One of the finest teams of digital product designers in The Netherlands. Maybe you’ve ran into us before without knowing it. We worked with Rituals, Marktplaats, Signify, Squla, and more. Our team consists of over 60+ design professionals, currently spread between our offices in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Eindhoven. We design digital services that not only look awesome but work extremely smooth as well.
About you
You are currently enrolled at an University/ Hogeschool and you are passionate about people, organisations and HR. You want to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and creative environment, with a specific interest in self-organisation.
As an HR intern, you work closely with our People and Culture Lead and contribute to various aspects of human resources management within a design-focused organisation. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the HR field, enhance your skills, and allow you to make a real impact in a vibrant and collaborative workplace. During the internship, you have the opportunity to conduct a (graduation) research if you want to.
About the internship
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, employee development, and diversity and inclusion programs.
- Assist in recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating orientation sessions and preparing relevant paperwork.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, such as organising company events, pulse surveys team-building activities, and recognition programs.
- Help maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in conducting research and analysis on HR/ design trends and best practices, with an emphasis on Holacratic principles.
