A distributor for DePuy-Synthes Mitek and RTI Surgical is seeking a sports medicine sales representative in your area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Increasing sales among orthopedic surgeons in assigned territory
- Maintain existing bus! iness for assigned product line
- Case coverage of spor! ts medicine business with existing surgeons
- In-servicing for all appropriate hospital staff
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity
- Educate surgeons and hospital staff on features and benefits of entire product line
- Must be able to travel within the territory
RTI Surgical is a leading provider of sterile biologic implants around the world and is at the forefront of tissue-based innovations that repair and support the natural healing of human bone and tissues. RTI prepares donated human tissue and bovine tissue for transplantation through extensive testing and screening, precision shaping and proprietary, validated sterilization processes. These allograft and xenograft implants are used in sports medicine, spine, and other specialty surgeries.
Job Requirements: (Medical Device Sales â€" Sports Medicine) For this position, our client is very specific as to what they are seeking in a prospective sales representative. Ideally, the candidate will be familiar with: • Arthroscopic procedures of the hip, knee, shoulder, and extremities • ACL, MCL, and PCL repairs and ACL reconstruction techniques • Meniscal, labral, and rotator cuff repairs • Anchors, sutures, endobuttons, resorbable screw systems, and other ! products commonly used in sports medicine procedures • Biologic mater! ials used in sports medicine procedures Additionally, the candidate will demonstrate a strong history of success in sales, be credentialed and prepared to cover cases upon hire (or be able to obtain credentialing), and have business management and territory planning skills. Prior background in competitive athletics is desirable, but not mandated. The distributor prefers to hire people either with direct orthopedic sales experience or people who are already trained through MSC’s Sports Medicine program.
