We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team as a full-time, remote employee. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their editing skills, with a proven ability to create engaging video content across various genres and platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality video content that meets project requirements
- Edit short videos for our clients’ social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn vlogs), as well as multi-camera podcasts
- Uploading the video content on the clients’ behalf to their social media platforms
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure all videos are on-brand and meet the highest quality standards
- Brainstorm on the new video content for the clients depending on their needs and requirements
- Use a range of editing techniques and software to create compelling visuals, audio, and storytelling elements
- Manage and organize media files, maintain project timelines, and meet project deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, software, and technologies
Requirements:
- 1+ year of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
- Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and visual effects
- Experience working with a variety of video formats
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace to work from home
