PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC formerly known as Legal Compliance & Integrity Office (LCIO)) is a part of Board area of SAP’s Office of the CEO (OCEO), and reports to SAP CEO Christian Klein as well as the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board. Our mission is to advance SAP’s business goals by promoting a culture of integrity. OEC focuses on helping SAP to ‘Win the Right Way’ by providing the guidance and training that enables employees to reject bribery and corruption. OEC helps to protect SAP’s business by mitigating the risks of non-compliance, and this includes investigating all instances of potential or suspected non-compliance that are considered substantial and criminal in nature.

Group Chief Compliance Officer and Head of OEC, Vivianne Gordon-Pullar, reports directly to SAP CEO. The Senior Audit Specialist/ Senior Investigations Specialist will report to the Regional Compliance Officer – Investigations, APJ and GC . The Senior Audit Specialist/Senior Investigations Specialist will perform internal investigations in the area of but not limited to fraud, bribery, corruption, side letters etc and will work closely with Field Compliance Officers, the Partner Audit, other colleagues from OEC and the Global Internal Audit Team.


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Graduation from accredited law school or accounting body or equivalent work experience, law enforcement background preferred
  • CA, CIA, CFE or MBA (Finance) would be added advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree from business or law school or related field
  • Highly-structured work approach, quick comprehension, ability to understand highly complex topics and interdependencies
  • Business experience and understanding of SAP’s strategy
  • Analytical, communication skills and networking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Open, friendly, creative personality with service-oriented professional attitude
  • SAP knowledge in SAP’s business applications highly desirable


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Independently lead investigations with minimal supervision
  • Liaise and effectively collaborate with the OEC team and SAP stakeholders
  • Communicate results of investigation clearly and in a timely manner
  • Prepare and present information to management at internal and external meetings
  • Resolve issues of complexity and across teams
  • Develop collaborative work relationships within OEC and across board areas and functions
  • Serve as trusted advisor and functional peer to other teams within the organization.


WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to do in-depth research and to interpret written guidelines and documents
  • Fluent business English and local language
