Position Summary
Design and implement irrigation systems for agricultural landscapes across the region.
Responsibilities
1. Design irrigation systems for agricultural landscapes across Southeast Asia, take into account factors such as soil type, crop type, topography, and water availability.
2. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans and blueprints for irrigation systems.
3. Analyse and evaluate irrigation system performance, including water use efficiency, crop yields, and environmental impact.
4. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure that irrigation systems are designed and implemented effectively.
5. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess irrigation system needs.
6. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for irrigation system projects.
7. Provide Bill of Material sheet (BOM) of assigned project.
8. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to irrigation system design and implementation.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and clients across Southeast Asia.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture or engineering, with a focus on irrigation design or a related field.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in CAD software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members across different cultures and languages.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Southeast Asia as needed.
- Fluency in English for read, write and speaking
Experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing irrigation systems for agricultural landscapes.- Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
