LINE CHEFS WANTED
To complete our international kitchen team, we are looking for energetic, motivated and trained chefs. Also Untrained person are welcome.
We are a high volume American restaurant in Charlottenburg.
The job offered is a full-time position and legal paperwork needs to be on hand. Work holiday visa works for me as well. English language is necessary.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare burgers, steaks, see food, poultry, vegetable and other food items for cooking on the grill, salamander, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
Assumes 100% responsibilities for quality of products served.
Knows and complies consistently with our standards portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
Stocks and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock.
Properly labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items for the line.
Performing opening, closing & side duties - setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment and stations.
Practicing safety and sanitation standards.
Having a sense of urgency.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 19 years old.
Performing duties which require bending & reaching
Lifting & transporting up to 50 kg (containers, dish racks, and trash cans).
Standing or moving, for up to 8+ hours.
Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (“having a plan”).
Following all uniform guidelines.
Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards.
Recycling products, where possible.
Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.
