Currently, we are looking for a Senior Finance Operations professional who will be responsible for the direct leadership of the Finance Operations Team in the Nordics.
Key responsibilities of this role would be :
- Lead and build a strong the accounting team and setting clear objectives for accurate and timely reporting
- Manage the month end reporting process ensuring all deadlines are met / prepare the financial reporting
- Review and provide variance to monthly management accounts reports. Provide adjustment & accruals journals as appropriate.
- Provide financial information and reports to Finance Controllers and Business Partners as required
- Technical advisor on technical accounting matters and to brief the wider finance team and wider business as required (i.e IFRS and local GAAP).
- Prepare and review Monthly/Quarterly P&L and Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of the monthly/quarterly reporting requirements, including quarterly corporate tax calculation (in cooperation with tax advisor) including liaising with Group Tax team
- Preparation of documents/information for calculation of all year-end corporate tax/deferred tax provisions for statutory accounts for the tax advisor, including notes to the accounts.
- Lead the annual audit with our external auditors and coordinate the team to provide all supporting schedules for the interim and year end audit
- Ensure strong financial controls are in place while driving process improvements and control improvements as required.
- Ensure all accounting entries are IFRS and local GAAP compliant. Advise of any potential areas of judgement.
- Monthly review and documenting of all significant revenue arrangements to ensure accurate accounting in accordance with IFRS15/IFRS16 and local GAAP
- Provision of cash flow analysis. Contact and coordinator Nordea cashpool.
- Delivering the Statutory Reports
- Completion and submission of VAT returns (in coordination with tax advisor)
- Coordination of outsourcing of tasks to competence centre in Mauritius in line with finance strategy
- Billing team will report into head of accounting of the region. Key goal coordination between Billing and Accounting and align on key project, accruals and interfaces.

Who you are : KNOWLEDGE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience of managing a Finance team
- Experience of running a year end auditing process. - at least 10 years experience
- Experience of producing local GAAP annual Statutory accounts / corporate tax returns
- Professional accounting qualification / master degree in Economics / preferably work experience with big 4
- Strong Technical Expertise in IFRS and local GAAP
- Strong people skills, including verbal communications, influencing and presentation skills, with ability to communicate technical matters with both senior management and non-technical audiences
- Tenacity and drive to overcome challenges, facilitate transformation and implement change
- Experience with SAP S4H- cloud version is a plus
- Fluent in Local language and English
