Summary:
Under the direction of the Director/Nurse Coordinator, is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of direct client care services. Serves as a core member of the interdisciplinary client care team. Has the necessary authority to assess, plan, evaluate and teach in patient situations. Carries out administrative responsibilities as delegated by Nurse Manager. Position works in pre-operative and discharge area with surgical patients. Excellent communication skills required, patient and family education are a large part of daily responsibility.
Educa! tion: Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Mus! t be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of the multi-state licensure required.
Experience:
Experience as a RN in surgery preferred. One year acute care experience as a RN required.
