The Credentialing Specialist is an office based, full-time position (Monday-Friday) in Billing and Collections for our Healthcare Practice. The position can be in any of our three locations (Vermillion, Mitchell, or Plankinton).
Responsibilities:
Credential new providers and existing providers Preparation of files accurately and in a timely manner Maintain and update client database Documentation of all communication Completion of all other assigned tasks
Qualificat! ions (Required):
High School diploma or GED required Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent computer skills Must be very organized, detailed oriented, ability to follow up and possess excellent proof-reading skills Qualifications (Preferred):
Previous credentialing or medical billing, with the use of SyMed One App credentialing software experience
