A Hospitalist is needed for a locum tenens position at the VA medical center in Hot Springs, South Dakota. Board Certified and ! Board Eligible Internal Medicine and Family Practice physicians will be considered. The assignment will begin ASAP and will continue for six months to one year. The physician will work in a 7 days on and 7 days off rotation. A valid medical license is required for the position, although it does not have to be a South Dakota license. As with many VA job opportunities, a medical license from any U.S. State or territory is all that is required. Your airfare, rental car, lodging and malpractice insurance will be provided for this assignment. Experience Hot Springs by strolling along the Freedom Trail that winds its way along the banks of the Fall River where you will discover healing warm-water springs, walk under a waterfall, and maybe even encounter a deer or two along the way.
