Family Practice Physician - (PCP - FP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 40 ! Hours/Week
The Indian Health Clinic in South Dakota is in need of a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice Physician or Internal Medicine Physician for their new Healthcare facility. Provider will work in both the inpatient and outpatient clinic. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturdays 12pm to 4pm. Provider will work a rotating schedule, 40 hours per week with some overtime possible. Any State License is accepted.
Family practice physicians(locum tenens) are usually the first point of contact for people seeking medical care. These doctors must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from broken bones to more exotic illnesses. Family physicians often care for families across generations and are an integral part of many people's lives. In cases where more specialized medical care is needed, a family practice physician will refer their patient to another physician for more focused care.
Required Qualifications
BLS, ACLS, DEA required
Previous Inpatient experience
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer previous Indian Health experience
