Physicians Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 06/24/2013Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
The Indian Health Service in Sout! h Dakota is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to help with a shortage of Providers at the Clinic. The shifts are from 12am to 12pm and the provider will work a rotating schedule, typically 7 on 7 off or 10 on 10 off. The contract would begin as soon as credentialing is completed and run through the end of December.
A physicians assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
Required Qualifications
BLS, ACLS, DEA required
EHR experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer previous Indian Health experience
