Category Specialist (Sustainability)(002993) [China]

 

Objectives of the Position

• Support Procurement activity on Sustainability initiatives e.g. TfS (Together for Sustainability) and SCMP (Supplier Carbon Management Program)
• Manage procurement tools and systems for GPD Asia
• Support the Procurement Category team for data management

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

• Coordinate procurement activities on Sustainability initiatives with internal/external stakeholders

oCommunicate with buyers/suppliers for PCF data collection
oRegular review of SCMP data for KPI monitoring
oSet up a road map for PCF reduction with supplier and ODs
oMonitor TfS evaluation

• Support Category Team for data management e.g. purchase data download
• Support Category Buyers in procurement process and process improvement projects
• Represent Asia Pacific region for assigned tools and maintain the data to up-to-date information
• Support Category team in category business KPI monitoring
• Support Category Team in Internal Business Partner Relationship Management and Supplier Management.

Minimum Education and Qualification required for the Position

• University (Master + min. 2 years in relevant positions or Bachelor + min 4 years of experience)
• Working experience, preferably in Procurement or Marketing or Product Management
• Working experience in Sustainability topic is preferred
• Project Management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent in English
• Excellent in MS office, IT tools
