The Field Service and Field Service Technician roles are a unique opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to:
- The Field Service Engineer position is responsible for the service and support of customer base. Responsible for repair, installation, maintenance and calibration of equipment at customer sites.
- Training customer personnel in operation/maintenance
- The primary role of Field Service Technician is to provide repair and preventative maintenance services for equipment while promoting customer satisfaction and maintenance contract growth.
Your responsibilities as Field Service include:
- To carry out calibration/validation installation, service repairs, maintenance, and calibration on equipment on the customer premises
- To prepare service reports and keep necessary service records
- Control spare part inventory
- Provide telephone support in response to customers technical issues
Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:
- 2 to 5 years Field Service experience
- Electrical, mechatronics, IT, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical troubleshooting, theory and application
- Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Experience in microscopy or other medical devices (this is a desired skill set for some roles)
- Valid driver’s license and valid current passport required.
- Willingness to travel - there may be occasional international travel, when not travelling or onsite you would be working from home
- Advanced-level English a must, local language(s) a plus
