Dispatch Coordinator

Our client is a locally owned company located in Whakatu.

We are seeking applicant for the position of Dispatch Coordinator, in this role you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will organised the company fleet vehicles whilst continuing to provide top level service to our customers.

Previous experience as a dispatcher or logistics coordinator either in transport or equipment industries would certainly be an advantage but not essential as training will be given. You need to be outgoing, confident, work well under pressure and a person who loves being busy.

The role requires someone who has:

Proven customer experience in a service based role.

Brilliant time management skills and be able juggle all the other tasks.

Have excellent computer and database management, if you are a touch typist that would be great.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Have a sound knowledge of operational and technical processes.

Hours will be 6.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday but sometimes there maybe a reason to work on the weekend.

Salary for the right person will be top level.

You will need to complete a pre employment drug test.
