The ! individual in this position must take ownership in their position, be dependable and desire the opportunity to work in a team environment. Full-time, day hours.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial insurance billing and collections is required
Ability to monitor claims through electronic claims processing system
Basic understanding of managed care contracting, prior experience interpreting contract terms helpful
Knowledge of written and verbal appeal techniques, EOB interpretation and other A/R related skills
Excel, Word and Outlook experience required
Have the ability to meet deadlines, function under pressure and adapt to change
Have proven ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of productivity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional attitude is required
Prior surgical and/or physician billing and/or A/R Experience required.
