We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer at our Clear Lake, South Dakota Facility.

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for providing Quality Assurance input and guidance for supply chain, post-market, and manufacturing activities, including but not limited to supplier evaluation and maintenance, evaluation of nonconforming material, complaint investigations, process validations, process improvements, corrective and preventive actions, and risk management updates. This position is also responsible for supporting quality assurance and regulatory issues to assure compliance with FDA regulations, corporate directives, ISO 13485 standards and Company strategies.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or science. Electrical, biomedical, or mechanical engineering degree preferred.
Three or more years of medical device or pharmaceutical quality experience.

Certified Quality Engineer, lean, and six sigma certifications desirable.

Experience with RoHS Directive and MDD requirements desirable.

Fluency in Spanish a plus.

Good communication skills.

Ability to write clear and concise technical reports.

Ability of present technical and quality information clearly to management, technical staff, production workers, suppliers, and customers.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals and to be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Ability to translate technical and quality results into understandable and actionable charts.
Able to make decisions based on facts and test results.

! Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Power Point. Oracle, Microsoft Visio, Access, and Project experience helpful. MiniTab, SolidWorks, and LabView skills a plus.
