Nurse Practitioner - (NP) Locum Tenens

The Indian Healt! h Clinic in South Dakota has a full time need for a Certified Nurse Practitoner beginning June 3rd. The provider will see all ages and will be responsible for seeing 15-20 patients per day. Round trip travel, hotel and car rental will all be provided.
Clinic hours: Mon - Fri 8a - 8p and Sat & Sun 1-5
Providers will work a rotating schedule made in advance, will work 8a -5p or 11a -8p Mon - Fri
If they are scheduled for weekend they will have a day off during the week (approx 1 weekend per month)
Avg 40-45 hours per week, can work more if they want.
A nurse practitioner (NP)(locum tenens) is a registered nurse (RN) with specialization in a specific area of medicine, such as family medicine or pediatrics. A nurse practitioner has completed a master’s program in nursing and has earned board certification in a chosen specialty. An NP is able to provide a wide range of medical services, from conducting physical examinations and taking down patie! nt history to performing more complex procedures such as bone ! marrow biopsies.
Required Qualifications
Must be Certified Nurse Practitioner, comfortable with all ages, and be proficient with EHR.
BLS, DEA required prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer previous Indian Health experience
